For Boston

This is late, I know, but heartfelt nonetheless.

I don’t have much to say about the bombings in Boston yesterday that has not already been said by those more eloquent that me. My heart breaks for the families of the three who were lost, and (to borrow from my Quaker friends) I am holding those who were injured and the people of Boston in the Light. I find it very comforting that there are so many kind, compassionate folks in the Boston area helping out- from opening up their wireless networks so that people could get in touch with loved ones, to opening their homes to marathon participants who need a place to crash. This is what we need to pay attention to: aiding our fellow beings. Jumping to conclusions helps no one.

Peace to you all.
